My work focuses on helping survivors understand how trauma affects both the mind and body, while supporting them in reducing symptoms such as anxiety, hypervigilance, dissociation, and emotional overwhelm. I strive to help clients rebuild a sense of safety, empowerment, and self-trust, while holding space for the complex experiences that often accompany trauma, including shame, fear, grief, and challenges in relationships.

I use evidence-based, trauma-focused approaches tailored to each individual, including trauma-focused and somatic practices. I view therapy as a collaborative process and aim to honor each client’s strengths, resilience, and lived experiences throughout the healing journey.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating the impact of past or ongoing trauma, including abuse, post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, and relational difficulties. Many of my clients have experienced domestic violence, sexual trauma, relationship issues, emotionally absent parents as a child and severe dissociation.

I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially for survivors. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your sense of safety, voice, and agency, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, empowered, and aligned with your values.

  • My clinical work is rooted in understanding how trauma impacts the mind, body, and relationships. I support clients in navigating symptoms such as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, depression, and difficulties with trust and connection, while helping them build a stronger sense of safety, self-awareness, and empowerment. I approach this work with deep respect for each individual’s lived experience, honoring both their pain and their resilience.

I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University, where I also completed specialized training in DBT and suicide risk assessment. During my clinical training, I provided individual, couples, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on creating individualized, strengths-based treatment plans within a trauma-informed framework.

My background as a behavior technician, along with my diverse professional experiences, has strengthened my ability to attune to clients’ needs, regulate challenging moments, and build trusting therapeutic relationships. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and somatic awareness, to support nervous system regulation and lasting change.

My style is warm, grounded, and supportive, while also offering structure and practical tools to help clients move forward at their own pace. I am passionate about walking alongside individuals as they reconnect with their sense of safety, voice, and self, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, empowered, and meaningful.
